This Ad is pure genius! Not only does it incorporate virtual reality and gorilla style marketing but it’s extremely effective. It really makes you realize what you’re missing out on when you choose a budget airline over a more luxurious one.
#2 Imagination is the Best Medicine – Monash Children’s Hospital
An excellent video by a New Zealand Ad Agency for a Children’s Hospital. This spot accomplished everything we imagine they set out to do; tug a little at the old heartstrings and make the hospital experience a little less scary for both the children and their parents.
#3 #WeighThis – Lean Cuisine
Lean Cuisine did a total overhaul to get away from being the “diet brand” it’s know for. They repackaged and introduced new trendy entrees to change their image from dated to modern and health conscious. This video campaign kicked off this new marketing plan and hit a home run with it’s female consumers.
#4 Protanopia – André Bergs
Well this is just plain cool. A digital interactive comic that is made to be viewed on an iPad. Pay attention people, this is the future. André Bergs is a director for animation with a love for visual storytelling, this project was created as an experiment into the possibilities of digital comics. It’s a free download at the Apple App store.
#5 Behind Every Seat is a Story – Southwest Airlines
Authentic storytelling is at the heart of this campaign from Southwest Airlines. The no-frills airline is sharing their passenger’s stories, and exposing the real reasons why people fly. They use a little humor to highlight why it’s important for them to offer “Transfarency” to all their passengers.
